ABOUT SELF TEST

Self Test is always highly sensitive AP area. Many a designer tends to take a quite mechanic approach with loads of unnecessary questions which distract site visitors, rather than guide them toward the application. Emotionless, automatic questions may bring about unpleasant feelings and impression. Your visitors may never come back to your site... Therefore, it is my suggestion to introduce the minimum number of questions:

1. The questions should be friendly
2. The questions should target your AP mission (an applicant should fill-in within submit form)
3. such questions as: "Did you have your site spell checked etc?" treat an applicant as a completely ignorant person, putting him down... it is non-ethical
4. Self Test should play a twofold role: to be friendly-oriented and to help applicants choose the most essential elements of your AP requirements depending on the site mission
